Activities Calendar

Initial level: Initiation to cycling

Take advantage of the security and protection by going in a group with a professional trainer who will accompany you throughout the training through the different roads that the Barcelona territory offers us. Learn and gain confidence on the bike with each cycling initiation training. Learn to ride with cleats, learn the basics to use the gears correctly, improve your position on the bike… Riding a bike shouldn’t be a reason for nerves. Turn training sessions into fun and quality sessions with Prorunners professionals.

  • Saturday 08:00 a.m. (departure from the Prorunners club, Ramon Turró, 303)
  • Necessary material: Road bike, helmet, sunglasses, water bottle, spare tube
Intermediate and advanced level: Cycling performance

In performance training you will find a heterogeneous group of triathletes and cyclists with whom you can go out with in a supervised and safe way. We cycle through various ports and roads, always under the watchful eye of our coaches. You will improve your physical abilities through different training sessions; series, changes of rhythm, efficient technique of changes and pedaling, transitions…

  • Saturday 08:00 a.m. (departure from the Prorunners club, Ramon Turró, 303)
  • Necessary material: Road bike, helmet, sunglasses, water can, spare tube, tools to change a wheel.
Beginner level: Start running!

Do you want to start in the world of running and don’t know how? Our initiation trainings are ideal for you.

Its main objective is to introduce you to the world of running. It doesn’t matter if you want to start or your level is a beginner, in the fun initiation training you will find a varied group of people who have also been involved in the madness of running for a short time.

  • Monday 7:30 p.m. – Wednesday at 8:00 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. – Friday 7:30 p.m. (departure from the Prorunners club, Ramon Turró, 303)
Intermediate level: Change of rhythm training

They are perfect for a first contact with speed and power during the race. Are you preparing for a long distance race or are you aiming to improve your times? During changes in pace you will improve your stamina and you will feel better when you run at higher speeds than you are used to.

  • Thursday 7:45 p.m. – Saturday 8:00 a.m. (departure from the Prorunners club, Ramon Turró, 303)
Advanced Level: Series Training

A perfect training where you can find your physical limits. A strange mix between suffering and pleasure will make you not remain indifferent. The series takes place on the Mar Bella slopes, a modern and recently renovated facility, perfect for the Prorunners coaches to control each stride of the session. Without a doubt, it is one of the training methods that most enrich our physical abilities.

  • Tuesday 7:45 p.m. (due to the limited capacity due to COVID, the series training sessions are carried out along the promenade instead of the facilities of the Mar Bella)
All levels: Core Training Workouts

Perhaps the least present training is in our weekly planning, but the most important if we want to improve running and reduce the risk of injury. In Core Training we train our muscle strength and posture during the race. We work with exercises on climbs or stairs, core toning exercises. Core Training training is dynamic and fun, suitable for all levels, alternating each week with a different aspect from what we have discussed above.

Swimming technique and performance

There are a large number of aspects that we have to control during swimming. For this reason, our coaches focus on improving swimming technique to be efficient swimmers and maintain a good position in the water, but above all on adapting to an environment to which we are not used.

In each class we have 4 or 5 lanes at our disposal that allows us to separate the attendees by their respective levels. You will always be swimming with people who have the same level as you.
